Dave Guajardo

Dave played soccer at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC.  Humbled by the technical ability of the players recruited from the UK, Dave committed himself to teaching the technical building blocks at the earliest ages.  To do this effectively, young athletes need to "learn without knowing they are learning."

Dave has become a full staff teacher & is part of the curriculum at Mildred Haupt Preschool (off Camp Bowie in Fort Worth).  What started as a 3rd party "enrichment" program, has grown to be an asset to the preschool's effort to be the best.

Finally, Dave has created the Wee Stings, a program for pre-academy age kids in conjunction with Sting Soccer Club, that uses the "learn without knowing they are learning" approach.  The goal is the same as the one. Soccer Schools Jett Project: to have age specific soccer programs that will be the BEST 1st IMPRESSION of The Beautiful Game.

Dave holds a C license and is on track to earn his A license within a few years.  With 20 years of coaching experience, Dave sincerely believes that there is still plenty he can learn to be a better coach & a better influence on young athletes.
